Enroute stop to visit a temple located in a beautiful cove, a Ruamid, a Karen hilltribe village and elephant camp. Mount the elephants for a 2 hour elephant safari to Baan Huay Mae Sai, a Yao hilltribe village. Continue by minibus to Chiang Rai handicraft center. Afterwards return to the hotel

Boat trip from the Golden Triangle down stream to Chiang Saen. Continue by minibus to visit Chian Saen Museum which houses a remarkable selection of ancient buddha images and antiques. Visit nearby Wat Chedi Luang. Wat Pasak and Wat Phra That Jom Kitti by climbing up 383 steps to the Hilltop Pagoda. Return to the hotel.

Take a boat trip downstream to Chiang Saen. Continue by minibus through scenic country side to visit Baan Huay Nam Yen, a Yao hilltribe village and Baan Mae Eab, a Yunanese Settlement. Return to the Golden Triangle Mountain View Point, Wat "Phra Thaat Phu-Kao". After shopping along the Mekhong River at Sob Ruak village, return to the hotel.

Depart by minibus to Mae Sai, the Northern most point of Thailand on the Thai-Burmese border. Pass through superb countryside. Stop at Baan Wang Lao and its little handicraft center. Shopping and sightseeing in Mae Sai including visit to a jade cutting factory. Proceed to visit the Fish Cave before returning to the hotel.

Take a boat trip downstream to Chiang Saen. Continue by minibus along the Mekong River to Baan Kiuw Karn, a village of the White Hmong Tribe located on a hilltop. Lunch at Nang Nual restaurant in Chiang Khong. Afterwards visit Baan Huay Nam Yen, a Yao hilltribe village and Baan Mae Eab, a Yunanese settlement. Continue by minibus back to the hotel. Drive to Doi Mae Salong mountain to visit Akha, Yao and Muser hilltribe villages. Lunch at Mae Salong Resort. Afterwards visit the Fish cave and Mae Sai, the Northern-most point of Thailand on the Thai-Burmese border. Visit a jade cutting factory and do some shopping before returning to the hotel. Depart to Chiang Khong, the border between Thailand and Laos. Stop at immigration check point to process documents for entry to Laos, and cross to Huay Xai by ferry to meet local guide and sightseeing around the town. After visit a Lantan tribe who only reside in Loas and continue drive to visit local people who make noodles by hand. Lunch is at a local restaurant. Continue to visit the local people who make their own pure whiskey and also visit to the old airport, which used to be an airforcebase during Vietnam War. Proceed to visit Wat Jom Khao before exploring the local market in Huay Xai and check point, cross by ferry to Chiang Khong on Thai side and continue by minibus/car back to hotel.

Drive to the picturesque northern Thai Village of Baan Mae Ma and Baan Dai. Visit a Lanna style home spun weavery and continue along the main road in the direction of Doi Mae Salong and turn into the mountains road to Baan Lao Sib, where you can witness original Yai weaving. Drive up to visit Akha at Baan Ar Sea, where the school is worth a visit. Proceed to Baan Klang, a Yunnanese settlement and Chinese style clay houses, where your lunch is served at a local restaurant. Return to your hotel.

Drive to Mae Sai, the border town between Thailand and Myanmar. Visit handicraft and local morning market in Mae Sai, and drive down the mountain road along the Myanmar border, this is probably the most spectacular view in the Golden Triangle. Continue drive through Baan Pha Hi, a classic Lahu village, and visit to the viewpoint of Phra Dhat Doi Chang Mub and enjoy lunch-box, here about 1,509 meters above sea level. Proceed to Wat Phra Dhat Doi Tung and visit the HRH Royal Villa and continue to visit most unique and amazing wild life sanctuary. Return to your hotel.
